Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lihtuania, current OSCE chairperson Audronius Ažubalis met with his Georgian counterpart Grigol Vashadze. He said that starting talks on free trade between Georgia and EU makes obvious whether Georgia is on the side of Singapore or Brussels.
“Georgia deserves strong signal regarding NATO membership, as Georgia had significant contribution in international peacekeeping missions. NATO member states must assure other countries that Georgia must become member of the alliance”, Lithuanian diplomat said.
He said that unfortunately OSCE doesn’t function in Georgia. “We want to create organization like OSCE in Vienna, that will partially act as OSCE”, Audronius Ažubalis said.
