The European Union will allocate 46 million euros to Georgia. According to Salome Samadashvili, Georgian Ambassador to the EU, a document confirming the above-mentioned decision has already been adopted by the European Parliament .
‘The financial assistance is intended for promotion of economy and decrease of unemployment rate, as well as for development of export’, the Ambassador said.
According to her, Georgia will get the part of the money as a grant and the rest as a preferential credit.
